A scoping mission was conducted by GHIA Foundation in May 2015, in Mbabane, the capital of Swaziland, resulting in the publication of a scoping mission report and needs assessment.
The GHIA-Foundation team met with the Swaziland Breast and Cervical Cancer Network (SBCCN ) to learn about their involvement in the fight against cervical and breast cancers.
The Swaziland Ministry of Health program officers requested financial and technical support from GHIA Foundation for the management of cervical cancer. GHIA Foundation provided the Swaziland Ministry of Health with the chemotherapy protocol to be implemented country-wide. The GHIA Foundation team also helped to resuscitate colposcopy services at the Swaziland Church of Christ Mission Hospital Mastsapha by procuring colposcope lightbulbs
